Steering Committee...
The Steering Committee consists of representatives from owners and
developers, and representatives from fields that serve owners and developers (affiliates) in the construction industry. Only one affiliate
representative from each field is permitted on the committee at a time.
AOD National Affiliate Membership and seat
on the AOD Steering Committee – The cost is $8,000 for a National
membership. The Steering Committee consists of representatives from owners and
developers, and representatives from professional disciplines, such as,
Architects,Construction Managers, Engineers, Consultants, General Contractors,
Insurers, Specialty Contractors, Suppliers, Lawyers, etc that serve owners
and developers (affiliates) in the construction industry. Only one
affiliate representative from each field is permitted on the committee at a
time. Therefore, your firm will be the only firm on the Steering Committee
for one year. Your firm will have the chance to renew this position at the
end of one year. We anticipate that this seat will be filled by you and in
addition, as an affiliate member you will be expected to, participate in
the Steering Committee Meetings, usually held 2-4 times per year in various
locations; and participate in the AOD conference, usually held 1-2 times per
year in various locations. These meetings provide invaluable opportunities
to increase your business opportunities by exposure to new
concepts/products/processes and to network with AOD Steering Committee members
and other AOD members, as well as the rest of the industry at large.
