Bruce King
Bruce C. King is a Shareholder in the Miami office of Carlton Fields Jorden Burt. He practices in the areas of commercial litigation and appeals and specializes in construction and surety cases. He has extensive experience representing owners, contractors, design professionals, insurers and sureties on complex construction projects. Mr. King's construction practice includes litigation as well as the negotiation and preparation of construction documents before and during the project. Mr. King serves as a mediator and as an arbitrator independently and through the American Arbitration Association. Mr. King is board certified in Construction Law by The Florida Bar, a vice chair of the Fidelity and Surety Law Committee of the ABA, and a former chair of the Miami-Dade County Construction Law Committee. He is a frequent lecturer and well published on construction related topics. Mr. King is regularly listed in Chambers USA Guide to America's Leading Business Lawyers, The Best Lawyers in America, and Florida Super Lawyers. He is AV rated by Martindale-Hubbell. Mr. King holds a B.A., cum laude, from Allegheny College and earned his J.D. from the University of Pittsburgh School of Law.
