On February 9, 1999, the Construction Industry Coalition Council held its second meeting, sponsored by Associated Owners & Developers, and hosted by the Surety Association of America in their Washington, D.C. offices. Association executives across the entire spectrum of the Industry, as well as senior members of key Federal Government Agencies involved in construction and facility ownership planned to be there.

This Council is set to further invigorate one of the world's largest industries by providing a problem-solving forum dedicated to enabling communications between owners and the rest of the industry; including architects, engineers, contractors, lenders, the surety/insurance sector, subcontractors, suppliers, lawyers, and construction managers, among others. Aimed at ensuring the on-time delivery of all projects, Council members are sure to find new ways to work together for the overall improvement of our global Construction Industry in the new millennium, as well as benefit the members and their Associations who actively participate in this important Coalition Council.
